The Liberty Party released a statement from the National Assembly on the 14th about the ongoing talks at Panmun-jeom. It said South Korea was subordinately agreeing to unjust conditions from the UN authorities on the armistice line, the prisoner exchanges, the armistice talks, and other issues. Not only is it not satisfactory, but the country is yielding in a humiliating way. At the same time it makes the Communists’ sinister plot for world conquest a possibility, in the end it will weaken the Free World itself by disregarding the UN’s idealistic collective security guarantee.
