The abducted Constituent Assembly legislator, Choi Tae-gyu is surviving in North.

납북 제헌국회의원 崔泰奎 옹 생존

◇…지난 48년 정선선거구에서 제헌 국회의원에 당선돼 6·25 당시 납북됐던 崔泰奎 옹이 아직 북한에 생존해 있는 것으로 확인돼 눈길.

17일 제헌 국회의원 유족회에 따르면 전쟁당시 북한에 납북된 국회의원은 모두 51명인데 이가운데 崔옹은 생존이 확인된 가운데 현재 북한 재북 평화통일촉진협의회 상무위원으로 활동중이라는 것.

崔옹은 48년 29세라는 약관의 나이에 언론인 출신으로 무소속으로 국회의원 선거에 나서 다른 5명의 경쟁후보를 물리치고 당선됐으나 2년후 전쟁의 소용돌이 속에 납북.
